Welcome to my photo gallery. Over these next pages, I’ve compiled a selection of my favourite photographs from my trips abroad.
Several locations contained within these pages have found their way into my novels, either as themselves or under fictitious names.
Someone once said I traveled to Scotland to research my work. It wasn’t quite that way. I’d been lucky enough to travel there on a
number of occasions, especially to the area of my father’s birthplace, long before I began writing my first novel.
When it came time to write, I drew on my experiences, photographs and guidebooks purchased from the various locations.
When they fell short, I asked "locals" for assistance.
